Student Questions and Problems

The sample download illustrates the type and format for student questions and problems. Questions are divided into two categories : General and Web/Book CD Questions, and require a word, sentence or paragraph answer, and problems are divided into five categories: General, PLC 5, SLC 500, ControlLogix, and Challenge Problems.

A Look at Instructor Resource Material

 On-Line Resources

On-line resources available from Prentice Hall - Pearson Education for the text include: a testbank and test generation software; a set of PowerPoint slides for each chapter; a set of test questions for each chapter objective that provides for competency-based testing; and a set of laboratory experiments.

PowerPoint slides include all chapter figures, a chapter summary in bullet format, instructor notes and active links between slides.  The slides can be easily divided into teaching slides for SLC 500 and PLC 5, ControlLogix, introductory PLC classes, advanced PLC classes, or any combination required for the curriculum. Some samples of the on-line material are available for review below. The PowerPoint file is provided in small (html) and large (ppt) format with the large format recommended for a full evaluation of the training material.
